What To Expect

National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car. Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum. As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership. You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs. Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes. The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items. An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

This place is a nice side trip if you’re passing by. Very convenient and sits right next to the interstate. Very clean place. I went with my family, with teens and a school age child. It was nice that they have this kidzone for the little ones. My youngest enjoyed that the most.

First of all, we have two Corvettes a C4 (1992) and a C6 (2012). We were part of the Corvette Caravan from the Pacific Northwest who drove to Bowling Green for the 25th anniversary of the museum in 2019. This Caravan happens only every 5 years. There were 5000 Corvettes there from all parts of the USA and even some from Canada and Australia. It was amazing to see that number of Vettes in one spot. It was once n a life time experience. There s nothing like owning one of these cars and also to drive one. Love love my Vettes. This was long before COVID reared its UGLY head.
