National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

the detailed history of America's Sports Car is fantastic. Also, having the opportunity to be a "face in the crowd" for a delivery of a new Vette to a customer is unique experience, too. Congrats to that fella with the sebring Orange C8! Very nice! Staff is friendly and helpful. I'd plan at least 1/2 a day for the museum alone.

If you love cars this is a great experience. The history of the Corvette is a wonderful study. The sink hole is outlined on the floor of the museum. It's huge. They placed a round plexiglass viewing hole so that you could see the depth of the sink hole. It was DEEP. Some of the cars on display were ones retrieved from the sink hole, still covered in mud and dirt. Key area was the exit lane with 8 Corvettes lined up for delivery. People must order them from their local dealer and opt to pick them up at the factory. They can still get the tour but just them. No tours for the general public yet. Amazing to watch the folks there go over all the things about the car. Hearing them when they are cranked is an experience too. Amazing what horsepower one can buy for between $90,000 and $130,000. Cost was reasonable. Great parking for motorhomes too.
