National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

My husband and I arrived here around 11 am. The parking lot was pretty full but we found a place to park. Mask are required to enter. When you arrive at the entrance, you walk into a lobby area and there were about 8 cars roped off. These cars were waiting for their owners to arrive. Each car had a written display of who purchased the car and the date they were arriving to pick it up. Someone has just gotten into their new Corvette and everyone was clapping. It was cool!! You can also go into the gift shop and restrooms without having to buy a ticket. Passed the restrooms is where you purchase your ticket in. Once in, it's Corvettes. Most of the Corvettes are either donated or on loan from an owner. The stories behind some the cars were amazing. I am not a huge Vet fan, but I found this to be interesting. I would say it only took us about 1 hour or so to go through it. You can do it much quicker if you are just looking at the cars and not reading the history. When its done you end up exiting into the gift shop. If you like history and cars, you will probably enjoy this.

Really enjoyed the Museum and seeing all the corvettes and reading about them. My wife and our son went with us and really enjoyed our time. I would suggest paying the extra $10 and drive the simulator on the video course, very fun.

If you like Corvettes, you will likely be interested. Unfortunately, the factory wasn't doing tours due to COVID (the tour would have increased my rating). It was interesting to see the sinkhole display. However, I was expecting more cars to be displayed. There was a lot of interesting history of the car's development.
