What To Expect

National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car. Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum. As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership. You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs. Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes. The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items. An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The new E. Pierce Marshall Memorial Performance Gallery is done very well.Especially like the C7R display with Jake in the background.Really enjoyed the Ed Roth display.Seeing Rat Fink took me back to my childhood. Mr. Roth’s cars are true art.

This is a perfect place to stop and see the history of the Corvette. There's a self guided tour that will take about an hour. The gift shop has all the Corvette memorabilia you would want. No reservations were needed on the week day afternoon we stopped. Even if you're not a Corvette enthusiast it's a interesting museum.

Excellent morning visit to this fine museum with my wife, daughter, and grandson. This is a very well-designed museum and very easy to walk around and see all of the Corvette history with all of the cars displayed nicely. The gift shop was outstanding without exorbitant prices.
