National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Bowling Green, Kentucky may not be known for a lot of things, but this museum is a must do if ever in this city. Conveniently located off of I-65 this is museum is a dream for anyone who loves these cars as well as their history. The admission is reasonably priced & I also enjoyed how they tied in the sinkhole which also became something this museum was known for after the collapse. The gift shop is decent & there are also other things to do on sight there as well. Definitely worth the stop.

As Corvette enthusiasts, we planned and afternoon at the National Corvette Museum and enjoyed every exhibit, every car as well as the gift shop. The museum has many different cars and exhibits from the beginning to the newest. We saw the new cars being prepped for the new owners/new car pickup at the museum. As we finished, some folks were there getting their first look at their new car. Since our last visit the museum experienced the "cave in". That area was especially interesting. I engaged the man staffing that area in conversation and found that he had worked at the museum at that time. He gave some interesting insights and stories.

We went to the museum for the afternoon! It is very well put together. There is amazing detail to everything. The staff is informed and friendly. The place is very clean. We could have spent a few more hours there but were pushed for time. We did not eat there but the cafe looked cute. I highly recommend this museum.
