National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

If you are a Corvette person, this place has to be on your bucket list. Very well done history of the Vette, and fitting time spent on Harley Earl and Mr. Duntov. Lots to see, but I thought there would be more corvettes to see. A nice racing display, and a complete gift shop that will lighten your wallet. But you'll be happy you spent the money. Very enjoyable tour.

This museum was pretty high quality overall and just the right amount of time at about an hour. I'm not a car enthusiast so it wasn't spectacular to me but most people were more impressed. The sinkhole part of the exhibit was interesting but a little overdone in my opinion. They definitely milked the accident for all it's worth. Tickets to get in are affordable and there's a nice gift shop and deli as well to spend an afternoon and check it off your list.

National Corvette Museum Bowling Green, KY. Great Museum of fiberglass history. The design history of the Corvette was very interesting. Really, a sink hole. The digital experience of the sink hole with the priceless Corvettes falling was amazing. Then to see the “remains” of the wrecked Corvettes could bring a tear to the eyes. I understand, but I was disappointed not to see a new completed C8 display model. There is a C8 mule, not the same. Don’t forget the gift shop, but how could you as you have to go through it to exit, just like most every other museum LOL.
