Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Such an amazing day!!! Heather was our pilot and she has extensive knowledge of the area. We saw a pod of at least 7 whales come up to the surface simultaneously to feed several times- in all the years we’ve been whale watching, have never seen anything as spectacular as that. Also saw seals, sea lions, puffins, porpoises, bald eagles, and of course the Aialik glacier. What a wondrous sight! We had 13 people in our group, ages 13-80, and every single one of us was impressed with the whole trip. We would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic wildlife sightings! Narration on the boat was great and we were notified where and what to look for. Boat pilot did everything possible to make sure we were able to see everything no matter what side of the boat we were on. Lunch and dinner were very good and additional drinks were reasonably priced. Fantastic tour!
