Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

This tour was magnificent! We started off the day with 3 orcas, swimming around lots of puffins and various bird species. We then came across a family of 14 humpback whales and watched them feed and flip their tales! Our guide was very informative and made the stops fun and intriguing. We only made it to Holgate Glacier due to the wildlife stops, but this was beautiful and we spent ample amount of time here. On our way to Fox Island, spotted seals lined the shores and we saw sea otters playing in the waves. Dinner was great (homemade salmon cakes) and the hospitality was on par. Definitely a trip for the books!

This trip was phenomenal. I was so happy I was able to see with my own eyes, one of God's creation. I really enjoyed the cruise.

We saw lots of sea life - whales, otters, seals, sea lions, plus lots of birds from eagles to puffins. The folks we brought with us from Arizona were completely thrilled! The disappointment was the food on Fox Island. Two in our party found the salmon cakes extremely fishy and did not finish them.
