Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

I realize this is about luck, but our capt got us into a pod of whales that were collaboratively feeding. Nuff said

A great value trip as a family for the time and cost involved. Everyone running the activity was efficient and very pleasant. We were very lucky to watch two humpback whale bubble-net feeding take place. Seven whales breaking thru the water pushing fish to the surface. Amazing! We also got great shots of seals, puffins, Eagles, and Dolphins. Orca's were Also plentiful and one breeched straight up twice, from a distance. The salmon cakes on Fox Island were delicious and we had time to walk the stone beach and skip stones. It was child on the water that day, so be sure to dress in multiple layers. 55 degrees in Seward. Everyone on our seven person group rated it a 10/10.

We say lots of animals and some glaciers. I appreciated having a window seat as the weather was rainy/sleet most of the day. I suggest you get there early, as seats are first come first serve. The 4 our 5 was because the bathrooms need improvements, they were smelly at the end.
