Amazing rafting adventure!!!! This is a MUST DO attraction at New River Gorge National Park. We had Cassie as our guide and she was fantastic, informative, and hilarious.
We met at their headquarters and were fitted for our helmets and life jackets. Then we took a bus to the start point of the river and rafted all the way down to the famous Bridge/visitor center lookout. The rafting itself was a healthy mix of grade II-IV rapids.
Cassie made our trip exceptionally smooth and fun. I never felt like we were in that much danger because she was so good at communicating and warning us where to go in case we fell over.
After rafting, they gave us free beer and access to free showers!! That's amazing!!!!! Will definitely come back next time for Gauley season. Cannot recommend Cassie or this company more highly.

First time whitewater rafting and it was great! Guides were extremely nice and likable, and the experience itself was a ton of fun. Would recommend to anyone.

My friends and I all had a fantastic time on our trip with Jared and all the West Virginia Adventures Crew. What was particularly great for us was that we booked as a group of four, and the trip was just our group and a guide in a smaller boat. We didn't have to socialize with strangers, or accommodate different skill levels, we could all just be the same old goofy guys we were when we went to high school 30+ years ago. In general, we had a great time during our entire long-weekend in the Fayetteville area, but our rafting experience with West Virginia Adventures was the uncontested highlight by a huge margin!
