Stories of West Africa was one of the exhibitions, this was fantastic, I hope all quilters get to see this. We did a self tour but there was a guide there as well to explaine the different quilts.

This museum has a unique collection of beautiful works of art. Quilting has become a sophisticated art form and the colors, the high level skill and dedication to an avocation is mind bending. There isn't much else to do in Paducah, except the murals depicting the history of Paducah which are near the museum; it took about 30-40 minutes to read and see them. But if you are on your way to somewhere else, make the time to go to this impressive and very affordable attraction.
