This class exceeded my expectations! Chef Michael was a great source of history / information on the local cuisine and all the of the many contributions from various cultures. He was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and very approachable. Every dish that he showed us how to make was absolutely delicious. I’ll be honest, I think that this was much better than being hands on - watch a professional chef make these dishes, learn his techniques and get to taste all the creations without getting your hands dirty? Yup…I can’t wait to take another demo class. I made my first bread pudding a few days later and can’t wait to try the jambalaya recipe next!! My husband was excited about learning how to successfully create a roux for gumbo!
