Our tour guide James was great and knew the history. I lived that our tour group was small, verse the other groups that we passed that had 20-30 people in a group. With only 6 in our group we really got to see a lot and ask questions as we went. Would highly recommend Lucky Bean Tours to anyone and will definitely use them again!

James is very funny and knows how to tell a good story! We are committed to keeping our groups small because the lively "walking and talking" experience is great for everyone. And EVERY Lucky Bean tour, because the groups are small, ends up being a customized tour! I hope you take another tour with us next time you visit New Orleans. Thank you for taking the time to review.

We did the Garden Walking Tour & had a great tour. James was incredibly friendly & knowledgeable. It was very hot, but he was wonderful in finding shady spots to stop and talk to us, while still allowing for spectacular views of the homes. If not the best, one of the best things about our tour was there were only 6 of us in the group. This made it very easy to hear him when he was talking & to have little side conversations with him. I’d definitely do this tour again (or another) with James.

Thank you for the review! It's the small groups and "side conversations" that make Lucky Bean tours so enjoyable for the guests and the guides. Everyone learns more when questions are asked and answered and the walking and talking begins. I'm so glad you were able to walk with James and I am so happy he found the shady spots - even the best story is no fun when you're melting in the sun! Please come again and tour another neighborhood with us!

I booked a tour of the Garden District during the Jazz Festival, and with everyone else in New Orleans at the festival, I had the good fortune of being the only one in my tour group. Libby provided a superb walking tour at a leisurely pace, punctuated with lots of informative local commentary, stories, and discussions regarding the history, architecture, and personalities that have made the city so unique. After experiencing the French Quarter on a Friday night, the Garden District was a wonderful, serene escape on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend Lucky Bean Tours and will book again with them the next time I am in New Orleans.

The Garden District is such a peaceful oasis from the bustle of the French Quarter, with enough "color" to make it fun and interesting. I enjoy my small tours, because every time someone speaks up and asks a question, it personalizes that tour and improves every future tour. Thank you so much for taking the time to review! I know you know how much my small business appreciates it!
