We really enjoyed the tour but the title is misleading. It's mostly a history of the Catholic church in NYC with a short Catacomb tour. Our guide was very good.

Lee was a fantastic tour guide. We were lucky to have chosen an odd time (a random day off from school at a low traffic hour), and so had him to ourselves. He was patient answering my children's questions and offered a lot of trivia that even my native New Yorkers hadn't heard. It's not as macabre as the catacombs in Europe, but as NYs only catacombs, it was an interesting site and another way into New York's fascinating history.

Took this tour with friends while in NY for a weekend in October 2024. It was very well organized and informative,
