Guide was very knowledgeable about Brooklyn and NY East River area. Best to do this on a weekend day w/o the crazy work traffic. It was so relaxing on a beautiful Sat morning last weekend. I would suggest a wireless setup - but just a minor thing. What a wonderful morning. I then walked over the World Trade Center - a short 10-min walk to see the Oculus and Memorial. There you have it - 2 major fun activities taking u up to 2 or 3 pm.

Interesting and fun, this was one of the best things we did in NYC. Apart from some difficulty finding our starting point (I'd recommend Googling this beforehand as it's next to a busy intersection and it took us a while) this was a really memorable experience. Bob - our knowledgeable guide - took us along the Hudson River, through Chinatown, across Manhattan Bridge to Dumbo, through Brooklyn Heights and back along Brooklyn Bridge. We cycled with two teens, both who really enjoyed this too. Even though it was quite busy, we felt safe - most of the route is along cycle paths. Much of the route was in the shade which was great in the heat and it was good to get the breeze from cycling.

Perfect way to spend 2 hours in the city getting a first hand look at the Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan. Loved the stops in Brooklyn. Nice to spend time outdoors, getting exercise and experiencing the city. The best!
