Iā€™ve booked through Viator and the voucher required to confirm the booking with the shop 48 h before scheduled time. I called from overseas before my trip and told that there was no booking under my reservation number nor my family name. So I was told I should contact Viator again through long distance call from overseas and confirmed that my reservation was ok. I called back the shop ( but actually I think is a call Center because they did not know the exact location of the shop other than what printed on the booking) and they told me that the reservation was not there. I called back after an hour and another operator picked up and he told me that his colleague already checked and they could not do anything. I asked to check again by first name instead of family name and after reluctantly agreeing to do that miraculously my booking was retrieved. Wasted much time and money on international calls for unprofessional attitude of the booking staff. The tour itself was very pleasant and the guide very informative. Edward a local Newyorker was very nice and took the time to stop at the most important places to talk about them with passion. The ride was about 18 Km, totally worth it.

Biking the Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges is definitely a must-do when visiting the Big Apple may it be with a tour group or just by yourself. If you want to do a tour bike ride, we suggest you check the schedule so as not to miss it. We ended up riding the bikes ourselves as we came in late. I highly suggest strapping a gopro to your chest or on your bike helmet as you surely will get some really great footages. Be super careful when in the brooklyn brige. Whether you're a pedestrian or a biker, locals bikers can be really speedy and you might find yourself colliding with them as what my fiance unfortunately experience and bruised her arm really bad. So to sum up my tip, Be early...strap a GoPro...be extra careful of local bikers.

This trip was a good way to see a bit of downtown NY and a few sights in Brookyln. I thought we might make a few more stops and learn a bit more about the history of certain spots, but it was mainly just riding around and not having time to stop and take everything in. The ride is easy but the bridges are hard work - be prepared for the climb! If you're wanting to go for a scenic ride, this is a good trip, but if you want more of a guided tour with some stops for food or to take more photos, I'd choose a different tour.
