My spouse and I recently went on this tour in November - it was a bright sunny day and extremely cold as there was a terrific wind throughout most of the 3 hours of the walking tour. This did not deter Bruce the director of the tour who met the group downtown. The tour was very interesting and detailed and we forgot how cold it was. As an English person, I was intrigued to learn what happened between the Americans and the British and how the Americans won their country back. The enthusiasm with which Bruce spoke about the relationship between Washington and Hamilton and all the characters in-between was so real that I was absorbed in Bruce's tour from start to finish. Bruce's love of history was really apparent. As a result, you felt connected with what he was saying and could visualize what happened so long ago. We are really looking forward to doing the secrets of Central Park with Bruce in the spring. It is rare to find a tour guide who is so knowledgeable and engaging and pleasant and who must have taken a very long time to put the tour together.

Bruce was great! Love the flip book he had, very friendly and informative. A 3 hour tour (no pun intended) may seem like a long time, but it actually flew by and we went about :30 over our time. It was COLD and Windy on our tour date and he was very accommodating to make the best of it. Looking forward to checking out his Central Park tour soon. Highly recommend.

Those five words instead of one illustrate how this tour delivered more than promised or anticipated, even on a rainy day. Two of my friends and I, along with four other intrepid folks began the tour on the steps of the Hamilton Customs House where Bruce gave us an engaging "Pre-Amble" for what was to follow. It was raining at the start but Bruce was able to have us step into history and seemingly out of the rain or caring about the weather. Fascinating, engaging, transporting. We're all eager to do another tour with Bruce and can only imagine that with sunshine it would be dazzling!
