I've done this tour several times with different groups and it's excellent every time. The tour guides know their stuff, and there's always a lot to learn about the city's history that easily goes overlooked. Even with various monuments and historic sites acknowledging our history, it's easy to walk past without stopping to learn.

Our guide told stories about people, slaveholders and abolitionists and enslaved people that were very interesting. This was enhanced by photos. A number of topics that were talked about, I was familiar with: ie: Description of "Middle Passage" "Passing", and Harriet Tubman. But there were quite a few other individuals, families and groups that I did not know about.
