What can you say. It's a helicopter ride over the city, in particular the Hudson River which in itself was great. However, the day we went the owner/managers had people lining up outside for 3 hours in near freezing temperatures. A further one hour wait inside had you waiting a total of four hours to do something you paid a lot of money for. DO NOT USE THIS OPERATOR. We had a reservation from 3 to 5pm we arrived at 1:45 to line up and lifted off at after 6pm.

In summer this wouldn't have been bad, but in the dead of winter it was pitch black and not a single photo worked... I was using a Canon 50D on a ISO of 3200 and still nothing.

No apologies were made and I felt like I had wasted 4 hours and $500 bucks.

This was the worst tour I had taken on my 3 month trip across Europe and The East Coast of the US. Countless people walked off to reclaim their money and line jumping was rife.

Management of this tour operator needs a good kick in the pants because they are hopeless.

I'm upset with Viator as well because one star almost seems to positive a rating. I give it 3 frownie faces.

:( :( :(

3rd US helicopter flight - others Grand Canyon and San Francisco - this was worst - delayed, crammed and a couple split to fill flight. Least space of all craft. I flew with son and partner - both prof photographers - had reasonable views but little useful commentary from pilot - keeping craft a little steadier would have also helped. Half-assed comments about dropping in on Yankee stadium after rapid banking and turning not really appreciated. Time also about five minutes short from advertised.
As in many other aspects of life, you make the most of what you have. My son's partner had never been in a helicopter before and she thought it an excellent experience. Son flew facing rear and appreciated my warning him of specific sites coming up - e.g. Statue, the bridges, Cent Park - and he took some pretty good photos I hear. Fairly cramped for space in rear seat - three of us - felt sorry for mid seat passenger who had to lean forw to see much. Fairly happy with my pix.
Overall, if there are bigger helicopters - there are - I saw them - then I would fly with them instead. As an experience this offered reasonable views on an excellent day for flying in later December - something to definitely do - just not with their vendor.

Very poor. The weather was bad, but they was still intent of doing the trip evan though low cloud and rain you could not see anything. Be prepaired.
