We went on the tour last Friday, a family of 8 from the uk, from age 11 to 72! We were lucky enough to have grandmaster Caz as our guide. He was so entertaining and informative..the passion pours out of him for his love of hip hop and his roots. Itā€™s nothing short of infectious and educational at the same time. It was brilliant to be taken off the beaten track and see the real New York rather than all the glory and glitz of Times Square etc. When we go back to New York we will definitely be doing the Brooklyn Hip Tour and for that...I canā€™t wait. A brilliant way to spend a few hours!

welshmum77, This review is the exact reason why we love what we do! Love hearing that your group (of all ages) was able to soak in some sites of the "real New York." Can't wait to have you back!

This was our 3rd visit to NYC and this was my favorite tour. Yes you can do the Red Bus Tours around Manhattan but this Tour takes you to places off the usual tourist routes. From Manhattan into Harlem, then into the Bronx the tour is led by the engaging and incredibly enthusiastic Grandmaster Caz covering the 5 basics of what makes Hip Hop Culture. Audience participation is encouraged but don't let this put you off, I'm British and still enjoyed it!! The Soul Food restaurant for Lunch is fantastic and I'd ignore the reviews which complain about being too pushy on selling merchandise as this was definitely not my experience, CD's and T-Shirts are available to buy if you choose to but there is no hard sell. I highly recommend this to any fan of Hip Hop, a really great way to spend 4 hours of your time in NYC

David T, What an amazing and insightful review! Thank you for the spending the day with us, and for a 3rd timer to say that Hush is their favorite tour means a lot to our team. And if we're able to get the Brits to participate, we must be doing something right! Cheers!
