From the hustle and bustle of Times Square to the serene vistas of Central Park, New York City is mesmerizing kaleidoscope of life and culture! As a novice photographer, I wanted to capture these iconic places and moments. Photo Safari New York made it happen! First and foremost, I want to express my admiration for Zim, our tour guide, mentor, and photographic guru. She embodies the vibrant spirit of New York City with her infectious enthusiasm, deep expertise, and genuine warmth. Zim is not just a guide; she is a torchbearer illuminating the path for us aspiring photographers. Time spent with Zim on the streets of New York was a masterclass in photography. Her expertise was incredible! From understanding light and shadows to framing the perfect composition, she was great! No question was too small, no detail overlooked. Zim patiently answered our queries, often showcasing solutions in real-time, transforming every challenge into an opportunity to learn. Photo Safari New York provided more than a tour; they presented an immersive, hands-on experience that reshaped my understanding of photography and of the city itself. Also the camaraderie among the participants, facilitated by Zim's inviting persona, added another enriching layer to the experience. Zim, and Photo Safari New York, are indeed world-class!

An excellent photo tour - definitely recommended. With a mix of technical and creative input from a highly knowledgeable host, the tour was varied and adaptable to the conditions, which on this occasion was very wet! NYC looks as good in the rain as it does in the sun with plenty of indoor options, so don’t be put off if the weather is poor. The tour will take you places you’ll want to see with help on composing, framing and taking the shot. The technical element can be as detailed as you can handle; lots of opportunities to ask questions and reflect on new learning. You’re sure to come away with some great photos, different but the same. If you want the perfect shot, buy a postcard, but if you want something a little different in the company of a pro and fellow enthusiasts, book a tour with photo safari.
