Thanks for a positive review. You're right! We're still here, we're still going strong with small groups, face masks and lots of hand sanitizer!

I enrolled in the NYC Iconic Photography Tour with NYC Photo Safari. Zim was the instructor. She was AMAZING. She’s a professional photographer, so her guidance was based on years and years of experience, and she lives in NYC, so her love for the NYC icons we photographed was obvious as she pointed out the nuances of each structure and shared historical bits of knowledge about them during the tour. Did you know the clock inside Grand Central Terminal is 6-feet tall and is worth tens of millions of dollars because it’s made of opal? And it photographs beautifully. Zim taught some techniques that I’ve been practicing ever since the course, and I’m definitely signing up for another course. It’s also a good activity to do while we all stay safe during COVID-19 — wearing a mask is required, the groups are limited in size, we’re outside mostly, we’re moving/walking, we’re able to maintain distance, and we’re handling our own equipment. Many thanks to Zim and NYC Photo Safari — see you next time!

I joined this tour (Iconic NY 2) to take beautiful photos of iconic New York city sights from the right angle and hopefully learn a thing or two. Check and check. My tour was lead by Zim who is a profressional photographer and happy to share her knowledge adapted to my level. I'm an "enthusiastic amateur" which means I feel quite comfortable with my equipement and I have a good level of technical knowledge. Zim immediately gauged my level and went directly to the things she could actually teach me. I'm really happy with the both the new knowledge and techniques I picked up and of course with the photos I captured. I also appreciated Zim's character: she was down to business when it came to photography but also shared personal stories of hers and had a good sense of humour: the 3-hour tour went by before I knew it!
