While poor weather meant that we had to do a Friday afternoon tour instead of a Thursday evening one, it was still lovely to see New York from above -- especially Central Park. Your view of things depends on your seat in the 4-person helicopter, but it affects your photo opportunities more than anything else so there's no need for that to really put you off. However, I had some customer service issues beforehand. They didn't affect my enjoyment of the tour itself, but the process of organising it could have been less stressful. To me, it's just counter-productive to promise an email response within 36 hours and say that 12 hours is most likely and then not actually respond until after a second inquiry 3 days later. Plus, I had someone very unhelpful on the phone when I was asking about getting to the heliport. The person who arranged my flight time and the people at the heliport were excellent, though. Overall, it was very enjoyable and left us with some good memories -- just leave yourself plenty of time to organise it.

The trip was good and well worth doing. It was exciting to get a bird's-eye view of NY. However, I was slightly disappointed that I wasn't able to get a sunset booking.

It was worth every penny and then some! I actually want to do it again. It was amazing, and this review is coming from someone who is afraid of heights. It was awesome!
