I took the tour with my husband . I recommend this tour to any tourist or local that wants to know places with good food in the city. Our guide Adam was awesome, he took us to places that I passed by before but I have no idea they were there or that they were that great. I liked the food we tried and also I liked to know more about the history of the places we passed by in the West Village. Thanks Adam for the great tour! We had a great time! See you next time!

Jonathan was a fantastic tour guide and the food we had was delicious and representative of the history of the area. Lots of food was included, I was feeling quite full by the end and there were multiple opportunities to buy your own food along the way if you wanted more. Jonathan was great at explaining the storied history of every location along our tour in a fun and entertaining way. Truly a great experience and fantastic way to learn about the Lower East Side on any visit to the area!

Jonathan did a great job of bringing the Village alive for us. The food, the past, and the present were all well-represented. Jonathan set the tone with his pre-tour texts — he was friendly, accommodating, paid attention to details (which resurfaced during the tour!), and funny. As a result, he recognized us, as we approached him at the meeting spot, and greeted us by name. Throughout the tour, he made a point of continuing to address each participant by name and had conversations on a personal level with all of us, including our teenagers. His detailed knowledge of the restaurants (their histories and specific details of the ingredients and food preparation) was impressive and added much to the experience. He also shared many historical facts about the neighborhood, placing poignant emphasis on the plight of restauranteurs during the pandemic. Jonathan was a superb host!
