You’ll “occupy Wall Street” at this famous privately held public space that was home to the protest movement for several months in the fall of 2011.

Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Right across from “the room where it happened” (aka Thomas Jefferson’s previous address) is one of 12 Federal Reserve banks. Hear about how founding father Alexander Hamilton devised a scheme to bring banking to the newly formed United States of America and view the awe-inspiring exterior of the richest bank in the world.

We booked this trip for our party of four which was hopefully going to be one of the highlights of our New York trip. Greg our tour guide didn't disappoint. Starting at Trinity Church and walking around many other pivotal locations we learnt the history of Alexander Hamilton which was well presented and educational. Greg our guide was like the fun history teacher you wish you had, he engaged well with all those on the tour and was entertaining and witty whilst remaining professional. The tour lasted around 2 hours which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We booked this trip for our two Hamilton-loving kids (from the show, of course). The tour guide - Greg - was very engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a bit of a rainy day during our tour, so I'd highly recommend bringing along ponchos and umbrellas just in case. I would recommend that the tour guide use a small microphone and speaker so that everyone in the group can hear well - it was a bit difficult at times, on the busy streets of NYC. But overall we were really happy we did this tour. Great experience!

We originally booked this tour thinking it would be linked to an interest in the theatre show and a desire to learn more about the real history. The tour was in fact not about the show, but rather Alexander Hamilton himself - the fact that one of us had not seen the show didn't hinder the enjoyment of the tour. Alex (our guide) was very informative whilst being friendly and professional, giving us loads of extra information throughout the tour, including recommendations of where to eat after the tour!! A very enjoyable way to spend a few hours learning
