Went on a food tour with Lea from Rhode Island Red Food Tours today. She was a wonderful, informative guide. We also had a great time with the people touring with us. We ate New England clam chowder at Belle's Cafe, lobster salad at The Newport Lobster Shack, macaroni and cheese with pork shoulder, and sampled three beers at The Wharf Pub, sorbet and sparking wine at the Vanderbilt Grace Hotel, homemade frankfurters and French fries at The Mission and marinated pork ribs and a margarita at Pedro Salado. Needless to say, no need for dinner tonight! Next time your in Newport try this tour, well worth it.

I didn't really know what to expect with going on a food tour, I'd never been on one before. Our tour guide was awesome along with all the places we visited. I highly reccomend going on one of their tours next time you are in Newport

We had a group of 12 ladies in town for my sister's bachelorette weekend, and we thought the food tour sounded fun. We were right! Our guide Sara was excellent, and gave us all sorts of fun facts about Newport during the tour. The food and drinks were great, and we had a blast!
