This review is long overdue. I was in Newport for a wedding in August and was looking for fun things to do while in town. I have enjoyed food tours in other cities and found there was a food tour in Newport and booked it immediately. What a great time! We experienced a wide variety of restaurants and foods all while enjoying beautiful Newport. Andrew is a great tour guide, fun and knowledgeable, and we experienced places and parts of the town I probably would not have seen if I was exploring on my own as well as historical information. I had a great time, we had a beautiful day and I would recommend the tour, especially if you have never been to Newport before. I even went back to one of the restaurants on the tour the following day because I wanted to experience more of their menu!

Andrew, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Everything we tried at each restaurant was very good and we made return trips to a couple of the places during our stay, Belles and White Horse Tavern.

The walking wasn't a problem at all. There was some construction going on so we had to detour at one point in the tour but no big deal. All of the local foods were great, and the people on the tour were awesome to meet and talk to. Our guide was Andrew and even though he wasn't from Newport he knew a lot about the place. This is a great activity to do in order to determine the type of places you might want to try while you're there.
