The Breakers

Tour includes Admission to ONE of the following Newport Mansions: The Breakers, The Marble House, or Rosecliff. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. *As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines. This policy is No Exceptions!

This tour is a great way to get a quick ride all around town while hearing many interesting historic facts. Our guide was great and very funny. You can also stop at up to 2 mansions depending on which ticket you purchase.

It was my husband's birthday and he had an absolutely amazing tour experience. We are definitely coming back to Newport. Ray was funny, pleasant and made the experience memorable. Newport is a picturesque quaint resort town and we wished we had more time to enjoy it all. The Breaker mansion was worth the hype. You won't be disappointed if you go through Viking and do the Breaker mansion.

My friend & I did the Trolley Tour and visited the Breakers this week. Ray was our tour guide and he is a 4th generation Newport resident. He may be the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Not only did he know the local history of Ocean Drive and Newport in general, he made the tour even more special by pointing out personal points of interest. He shared stories of his boyhood in Newport tying them into local landmarks. 100% recommend this tour. Make sure you ask for Ray!!
