Enjoy delightful food from five restaurants while strolling the historic streets of Newport, Rhode Island! Our tour begins in front of the Wave sculpture on the corner of America's Cup Ave. and Memorial Blvd.. We will talk about Newport's infamous pirates, Revolutionary War armies, the Gilded Age of mansions and industrialists, the Irish American heritage up to and including the condominium boom. Our tour will last 2.5 hours and will cover approximately 1.75 miles. Bring your appetites, you will not be disappointed!

Our meeting place which is located in front of the Wave Sculpture, at the corner of America's Cup Blvd and Memorial Blvd.in the heart of Newport. Following your check in, we give a brief history of the 41 North and the Armory, then continue on to our "Off the Beaten Path" tour. If you have been to Newport many times or if this is your first time, you will experience many new facts and wonderful restaurants along the way.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time on this tour. The groups were small and the tour guide, Sue, was great! The food was delicious, we would definitely recommend this tour!

Sue and Tom were terrific and we enjoyed the history portion of the tour immensely. I do agree that for the price, and having done numerous other food tours in various cities, I think one more stop is needed....preferably a seafood stop as Newport IS seafood. The chicken is delicious, perhaps the slider stop is just for the burger and there is a different lobster roll stop? The ice cream stop was AWESOME and the cocktail stop a good way to end. Find another stop and this tour would be perfection!

Hi, Thank you, we take our reviews very seriously and have added another stop! We encountered many, many allergies to seafood which is why our lobster slider is optional at our first stop, but thanks again.

Highly recommend this tour! Tom was very nice, fun, & knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of Newport while enjoying amazing food. From reading other reviews, you can see how serious they take their customers suggestions as he made sure to ask us what order we would like each stop to be in.
