We visited on Thursday, August 4, 2022. It wasn’t as crowded as I thought it might be. The 🇨🇦 side has AMAZING views but don’t dismiss the 🇺🇸 side where you can get up close and personal. The US side has much less concrete and more natural (more shade trees). The reviews of the falls that say the Canada side is better, I’m not so sure they did or saw everything on the US side that we did (like Luna Island and so much more). The view of Horseshoe Falls is better on the Canada side. Either way, both sides are amazing but you won’t be disappointed if you are just visiting the US side so GO. 😁 Our Maid of the Mist boat tour was easy and fun. We purchased tickets the day of and walked right on. My 79 year old mom loved it. We both did. I think our boat ride was around 10:30 am. It wasn’t full on top which was nice. We used my mom’s phone for pictures because she had the waterproof case. This was my second time and her first. The boat ride is not long but worth every penny and I would do it again, given the chance. After your boat ride, go up and see the view from the Observation Tower (free with your boat ride or $1.25 alone) and before that, go up the stairs to get a closeup of the 🇺🇸 falls. You’ll get wet but that’s part of the fun. We had a blast!

This is the way to do Niagara! Our guide, Randy, was awesome and so funny. He taught us how to be visitors to Niagara instead of just tourist. He was very knowledgeable.
