What To Expect

Cave of the Winds

First, you will be given the opportunity to get as close as possible to Niagara Falls by taking part in the Cave of the Winds tour. An elevator will be waiting to take you into the Niagara Gorge where you will be sent on your way to explore wooden walkways with a tour guide. The walkways will get you as close to the falls as possible.

Niagara Falls Observation Tower

From there, you will head up to the American Observation Tower extending out over Niagara Gorge.

Goat Island

Then it's off to Goat Island where you'll be able to see all three Falls from different points. Don’t forget your camera because there are some wonderful views you will want to make sure you preserve on film.

Horseshoe Falls

Overlook the Canadian Horseshoe Falls from terrapin point on the on Goat Island on the American side.

Whirlpool State Park

After your trip into the Niagara Gorge, your guide will introduce you to one of the world’s largest natural whirlpool rapids, formed nearly 4,200 years ago.

Me and my friend both really enjoyed this trip! It was so informative! Lots to see and lots of culture though I do think that is Toronto in general. Met some lovely people on the coach as well which was nice! It was a bit hard finding the central location especially as they originally said that they would pick us up from our hotel but sent an email saying that we needed to meet at the central location instead. I would recommend setting off to get there early just incase as everyone we spoke to on our tour had different times sent to them for when the bus would actually arrive at the central location. The bus was clean lovely and had charging plugs. Fabio was very informative, knowledgeable and keeps to his timings so don’t be late. The Falls itself was amazing experience seeing the American side and the Canadian was so good. The trip was worth it especially for the view we had a lovely day of sun so we saw a few rainbows there too! The falls dinner - the food was lovely BUT the cleanliness of the restaurant, cups and cutlery was appalling especially for being the Sheraton! Be aware there is an extra tax on top of the gratuity so when your ordering make sure you add another 7 or so dollar on top. The extra tax is something to do with being on the strip which really should be stated more clearly. Tea, coffee and water is included but all the other drinks you will have to pay for. There was a lovely guy called Dan (I can’t be sure that was his name but he cooked some amazing honey salmon and shrimp he also does tours) we had a lovely conversation about the falls and the whole experience and he really put an amazing spin on it ! Me and my friend was really moved by what he said he was so kind and friendly and just had a lovely pleasant spirit about him. Fabio is lovely he dropped everyone either at or near as possible to their hotel but apparently not all of them do so do ask the tour guide before hand. Overall I would do it again, it was great fun! The fireworks at 10 was amazing especially as it is over the Falls itself. Get there a bit early so you can have a good space to see it. Great experience I would recommend!
