You will get an amazing 3 mile tour just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee at Nickajack Lake and will learn about gray bats, osprey, cliff swallows, blue heron, and other wildlife. Your guide will discuss how they are all interconnected, what is being done to protect these wild animals, and what impact you can do to help the incredible endangered gray bat. We throw in a little history of the Tennessee River and how it became what it looks like today. With a grand finale of watching 100,00 gray bats leave the cave at sunset.

We had a great kayak experience. We usually kayak in rivers so the lake was a very calm and enjoyable experience. The bats were very tiny but so fun to watch. We had great tour guides.

The equipment, instruction, education and information provided was top notch. We had fun and got exercise on the kayaks but it was also a mix of quality time with my daughter and time to interact w the guides. The bat show was very cool - they didn’t disappoint. A fun evening for sure!
