You will get an amazing 3 mile tour just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee at Nickajack Lake and will learn about gray bats, osprey, cliff swallows, blue heron, and other wildlife. Your guide will discuss how they are all interconnected, what is being done to protect these wild animals, and what impact you can do to help the incredible endangered gray bat. We throw in a little history of the Tennessee River and how it became what it looks like today. With a grand finale of watching 100,00 gray bats leave the cave at sunset.

We all had a really wonderful time! Our guide, Thomas, was so knowledgeable and you could tell he really cared about the gray bats and their endangered status. It was so quiet and peaceful. My teens loved it too.

It was amazing! Loved seeing river otter, osprey, and the bats coming out at sunset. It was my first time kayaking and I had NO trouble getting the hang of it....and I am a grandma, so this is for all ages! Definitely want to do another kayak tour with this outfit again! Perfect experience!
