I can't believe this experience was real life. The most amazing thing I've ever done. Capt. David, Aidan and Hunter got us there and in and out of the water safely. The moment I put my snorkel on and put my head below the water, I was greeted by the under belly of a large, majestic Manta Ray. It felt like something out of a dream. I didn't want to stop looking. The Mantas seemed to follow a flight pattern under water, swimming up, opening their mouth, wating the plankton, flipping over and coming back for more. Most definitely a must. We even had a group of dolphins show up for the evening. So cool!
What to expect:
If you've never been on a boat on the ocean in the middle of the night, this can lend to a bit of a fright. It is very different then being on a boat during the day. Be prepared for that. The water was a little bit cold after awhile (even with a wetsuit top on), and you have to hold the bar the entire time because otherwise the ocean will take you away, but it is absolutely doable and completely amazing. The guys make sure you're safe the whole time. When the boat is just moored, motion sickness is a real thing, stay in the water as long as you can haha. Thanks for the experience of a lifetime.
