After wandering through the cool museum, don your bathing suit and enjoy the resort’s legendary namesake. The revitalizing mineral water soothes muscles with its warm temperatures of 106 degrees F (41 degrees C) year-round. You can also soak under the stars in an outdoor hot tub, or indoors in the heated pool. In between, slip away to the Aurora Café or the historic Resort Restaurant, where you can purchase meals, snacks, or beverages. When ready, join your expert guide for a small-group outing to view the Aurora Borealis. Your guide will lead you through one of the best places on earth to witness the green and purple illuminations loop across the night sky. Wait and witness the celestial wonder with hot beverages in the late evening, when viewing opportunities are the highest. The lights are also visible inside the cafe's Aurora Room, which serves as a comfortable and warm location for viewings. Note: We can never guarantee the Northern lights sighting.

What a wonderful experience! I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Fairbanks, especially if they wish to view the northern lights even though the tour is great without it. It started with our guide Bob (Phbob as he spelled it. Lol) who was a font of knowledge about the countryside and Alaska on the one hour drive to the resort. Bob's patience and sense of humor more than made up for the cold weather. He stayed with us through the ice museum where he helped us take photos; at the hot springs, where he encouraged one of my companions to venture further into the pool as she was concerned about the safety in doing so; and at dinner where he introduced us to the artist who created the pieces in the ice museum. He went above and beyond to assist with our experience of viewing the northern lights, going so far as to help one of tour group set up his camera for the best shots, taking us to a cabin a little further uphill from the resort for a better view, and stopping along the way on the journey back when he spotted the lights. I would definitely do this tour again and we will definitely ask for Bob!!

We had a wonderful time last night with our guide Ken, he picked us up at the hotel on time, the ride out to Chena Springs had great scenery all the way, Ken knew his stuff he talked to us the whole way about Alaska, the trees, wildlife, land and etc... While at the springs everything was great, the hot springs, the ice museum, the food, BUT the northern lights were breath taking. He took us to several locations for us to view them. Well worth the money, Ken was a great tour guide a personality like the northern lights, Out Of This WORLD!! Highly recommend you do this tour and if at all possible ask for Ken.😊

I would love to send a HUGE thank you to Ken who was our guide. The hotel pick up was so easy. He was actually early with a few people already in the van. As soon as I realized how early and prompt he was, I knew it would be a great trip. And it was! Our group was so fun and Ken kept up with all our ridiculous jokes and conversations. The drive was easy and the information provided during the drive was excellent. The ice museum and the martini is a must! When we were done with hot springs, another group member and I were looking for our group only to realize the aurora was putting on a show. Ken was running around the hot springs trying to find us lol that just shows how amazing and dedicated he is. We drove to a few spots and were able to take great photos of the Aurora (thanks to one of our group members who had a decent camera) All my activities have been canceling left and right due to the snow melting, but this tour (and especially ken) is the reason why I can name this the best solo vacation I've ever taken. Thank you for making one of my dreams come true and thank you for having a person like Ken represent your company! Definitely the best!
