After wandering through the cool museum, don your bathing suit and enjoy the resort’s legendary namesake. The revitalizing mineral water soothes muscles with its warm temperatures of 106 degrees F (41 degrees C) year-round. You can also soak under the stars in an outdoor hot tub, or indoors in the heated pool. In between, slip away to the Aurora Café or the historic Resort Restaurant, where you can purchase meals, snacks, or beverages. When ready, join your expert guide for a small-group outing to view the Aurora Borealis. Your guide will lead you through one of the best places on earth to witness the green and purple illuminations loop across the night sky. Wait and witness the celestial wonder with hot beverages in the late evening, when viewing opportunities are the highest. The lights are also visible inside the cafe's Aurora Room, which serves as a comfortable and warm location for viewings. Note: We can never guarantee the Northern lights sighting.

We booked the tour because I wanted to go to the hot spring and want to see aurora. The time and schedule of the tour is perfect for us. We had enough time to leisurely enjoy a fantastic dinner at the Chena Hot Spring Restaurant. The hot spring is not as crowded as we thought. We were really luck to see aurora that night. It was a great night. Our guide Bob is funny and very helpful. He knows where to stop for aurora viewing. He made stops along the way whenever he/anyone in the van saw aurora. He was very patient and gave enough time for everyone to take photos/enjoy the hot spring.

What an experience! We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, but even without it would've still been an amazing trip. We did the ice museum, appletinis, dinner at the restaurant, the hot springs, and then finally the aurora viewing. Prepare for a long night! One of the best parts of the tour was our guide, Bob. He was extremely kind and willing to help in any way he could. Highly recommend Alaska Wildlife, the Chena Hot Springs tour, and Bob!

Ken and Suzie were awesome. Ken was prompt, he called us 10 minutes before picking us up. After we picked everyone up we headed for Chena hot springs. While on over way Ken told us about Alaska, the trees, wildlife, the permafrost and it's importance. He stopped so we could get pictures of the beautiful sunset. We caught a quick glimpse of a lynx and had seen a group preparing for a sled dog race. While at Chena hot springs, we got a tour through the ice museum and enjoyed a appletini. We then could go to the restaurant and have dinner or just go straight to the hot springs. Another awesome time, the hot springs were perfect. We then met at 10 hiked up a short hill to attempt to see the northern lights. Unfortunately the clouds came in and we could not see much of anything. Half the group decided to get completely plastered and one gal fell in a snow trench. Ken and Suzie were great in their help to get her out of the snow and into a warm van. They were very professional about the whole situation. All was great,. Everyone touring had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend

Hello from North Pole, thank you so much for leaving us, Ken and Suzie such an amazing review. We are glad you had a great time and that nothing else happened to the rest of the group. Some people get a little carried away at the Hot Springs due to the great cocktails. Everyone in our company is just always glad if they can help out and keep everyone safe and still have fun doing it. Sending greetings from Alaska - Sylvia
