We came to Fairbanks for the sole purpose of experiencing the northern lights. We arrived on Sunday night and we had no luck Monday nor Tuesday nights. This left Wednesday night and our tour to the Murphy Dome as our final hopes in fulfilling our goal of partaking in this experience. Our tour guide, Nate, picked up right on time. He made sure all of us in the van were comfortable and could hear him on the PA system. He warned us ahead of time there may be other people there and they may have lights on, which would break the etiquette of viewing the lights. When we arrived to the Murphy Dome, it was like right on cue; we caught the very beginning of the light show. Nate provided hot chocolate (which was very much needed this night as it was freezing cold) and snacks for us, and allowed us to sit in the van to warm up as needed. We experienced a show unlike any other we have ever seen. Nate showed those of us who weren’t sure how to capture this beautiful spectacle on our phones how to do so. We had an amazing time there and when we were all kind of tired of this spot, Nate took us to another location he knew of for more of the “show”. I do not do reviews. I go places, I partake in the experience, and I either enjoy it or don’t, but I keep it to myself. This experience was extraordinary, Nate was an excellent guide on our journey, and everything was very professional and, well, fun. If you ever have the opportunity to go on this venture, I would very much recommend this company to book this through, and ask for Nate to guide you on this amazing journey.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, the Northern Lights, and best ways to capture them! She even had hot chocolate for us to have while we were up at Murphy Dome!
