There are so many other great options to choose from. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . . .While I read the description, I thought Muphy's Dome was a destination, only to find out that its a road . .not a place . . You will be on a TOUR BUS for 4 +hours, without a bathroom . .I asked what happens if I need to go . .he told me to go outside . .it's -25 degrees . .not really a great solutions especially since I am a woman. Also the bus windows will be totally fogged and you cannot see out of them With people constantly getting out and out of the van . .. it's freezing cold. What happens if you are on one side of the bus and the lights are going off on the other side . . .can't see them. . While they offer snacks and water . .they only said they'd have water. SUCH A RIP . . .Also the owner was totally RUDE,THREATENED ME and SURLY . . .USE 1st Alaska Trips, as they actually go to a YURT - where you can view the Northern Lights inside, with snacks, refreshments and a BATHROOM . .. while they did say that this was all noted on their website, I booked through expedia and failed to read their fine print . . .so that's on me . .but STILL . . .this should be noted UPFRONT and not as a footnote.

Dear Andrea, We are sorry that you had this experience with us. However, you booked this tour almost 1 month before your actual tour date and had plenty of time to read the description and your confirmation notes, as well as our policy. In this description, it is clearly noted, that the Murphy Dome is an area/road/place, however you would like to name it, and not a building. This information is stated on multiple areas on the page you booked with, additional to the fine print. We also called you multiple times before this tour and were available for any questions you might have had. We would never recommend this tour for anyone with medical issues and have no reason to hide anything. We have other tours available which would have been a great fit for you. The tour you mentioned, from the other tour company, is a completely different type of tour, for a different price to a different place. I am not sure why you would bring this up after booking a tour to the Murphy Dome with us. We also have an Aurora Lodge tour, which has drinks, snacks and toilets at the location and still, you have chosen a different kind of tour. However, our Murphy Dome tour also offers free hot drinks, bottled water and snacks. Now to the accusations against the owner of the company, we have to say that we think you got this confused and mixed up. We had multiple persons available to listen to the conversation and the threats clearly came from your side and he simply tried to calm you down and explain you the situation. Even if you eventually decided not to join us on this tour, we still hope you had a great overall visit to Alaska, and we are sending greetings from North Pole. Your AWG team.

We had an amazing experience at Murphy Dome hosted by Lynley. There and back, she had interesting stories and facts to tell us. She helped us get started to watch the lights helping us to be comfortable and enjoy our time there. We saw the northern lights and it was a spectacular show. She helped us with photographing the lights, kept us warm with beverages, and had snacks. The lights were vibrant and lasted for over an hour.
