Loved our full-day boat tour of Resurrection Bay and on to Northwestern Fjord. We saw sea otter, harbor seals, Stellar sea lions, orcas, humpback whales, fin whale, puffins, and more. While it was a LONG day on a boat, the captain/guide did a great job of spotting wildlife and narrating along the way. Also learned about the geology and glaciers in the area. A continental breakfast and simple lunch was provided.

OUtstanding, and worth every dollar spent. The captain went out of the way (following insight of other boats) to be sure we saw killer and humpback whales, sea lions, otter, and seals. Wide variety of bird life, including puffin and murres. The staff were knowledgeable and involved with clients. Simple morning snack was provided, followed by excellent lunch and fresh baked chocolate cookies on the return trip. It was a very foggy morning, and the bay was affected by the smoke of forest fires. However, the very capable ship staff made us feel that we had a unique and special experience; we certainly did!

We took this as a dinner cruise. It was so beautiful even with the smoke from the many forest fires that were burning in Alaska. But being peak tourist season there were a lot of people on the boat who wouldn’t stop talking. You can hear the glaciers if you take the time to stop & listen. I had the crab cakes & my daughter had the vegetarian option (beyond burger) and they were both really good! We did see see some wildlife as we traveled to & from. Well worth the trip!
