Excellent tour and highly recommend to anyone. A great way to see Central Park. The tour guide Phillip was excellent and provided lots of information at all the stops. Weā€™ve done Central Park a few times but this is by far the best way to see the park

My son was ill the night before and couldnā€™t get out of bed. Went along to the scooter hire place at our allotted time, told them and they moved it to 2 days later no problems, even though they didnā€™t have to. Good on you for doing the right thing. Great fun to see the park on scooters and knowledgeable tour guide gives you some context. Really fun - recommend highly.

The scooters are east to work. You push a button to turn them on, put up you kickstand, give it a few pushes with your foot and then use the hand lever and press down to go. You use the break in the other hand just like you would on a bike. They go super fast! This was so fun. Use common sense and courtesy, if a pedestrian is in a walk way, stop, donā€™t swerve, donā€™t hit them. Donā€™t freak out if you canā€™t keep up at times. You will find your group. Stay in your lane. Change lanes like you would driving and look behind you first. Wear a helmet if you want. If you wouldnā€™t ride a bike in NYC/Central Park donā€™t ride an e scooter! The park is busy and if you wouldnā€™t ride a bike donā€™t take this tour. The guide was knowledgeable (Philip). We would stop at places to explore certain sites. Itā€™s a quick and fun way to cover a ton of ground and get some background information. The shop where you meet is about a block away from the park. The shop is nothing impressive. THERE ARE NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!!!! The vending machine had no water. So, use the bathroom before and bring your own water. You can use a restroom by Bethesda Fountain. You could buy water at one of the trucks here too. The crappy pavement on one section of the tour made me a little nervous. Hang on tight, give yourself space, donā€™t worry about keeping up, be safe and you will have a good time. This tour is not accessible if you cannot stand unassisted for two hours and work with two hands. I would do it again!
