I recently went on the Pierogi Walk with Greg. I was nothing short of gobsmacked!!! I have been a denizen of Greenwich Village for more than 35 years and frequently attend cultural events in the city. This tour is hands down one of the 10 most exciting things I have ever done. It far, far exceeded all my expectations. Greg's research is exhaustive and he weaves it into the most engaging, exhilarating and hilarious narrative. The food is delicious and the venues are thrilling. Basically the tour is like going on the Cyclone at Coney Island! That thrilling! Two hours is not enough time, but it's long enough to become best friends. I didn't want it to end. Oh, and by the way, Greg has a booming voice! You do not have to strain to hear every word! And if you're really lucky, he'll wear a silly, goofy hat and glasses! Book a tour with Greg today for the time of your life!

Hello Jeffrey Wow - thanks for the great 5 star review. I'm flattered you were gobsmacked (amazed and astounded.) It was indeed thrilling having you taste, eat, tour and explore in the East Village. I'm a big pierogi as you learned and wearing silly goofy hat and glasses adds to the fun of it all. I liked your questions while touring which kept me on my toes. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you soon on another GREG WALKS NYC tour. Greg

Wonderfully F-U-N food tour with the engaging and knowledgeable “Walking Greg Marro” replete with yummy pierogis, scrumptious kielbasa, luscious NY egg creams and ‘cawfee’ (or tea, if preferred)!! Learned much about the Yiddish roots of the neighborhood and its rock n’ roll/disco past all the while enjoying the camaraderie of my fellow travelers, sharing stories, laughs and delicious treats along the way. Highly recommend!!!!

These Polish dumplings are the perfect sample while learning about NYC East Village Old World Eastern Euro roots. Happy you also enjoyed learning some rocknroll and disco history too along with some hearty laughs. Thanks for the 5 star review and Hope to see you soon. Greg

First let me say that we have done tours like this in the past with another business in NYC. But Greg made this tour "special". What a super fun personality....funny ... knowledgeable...he made the trip a real treat. We also had the privilege of being on the same tour with the FFOGs (family and friends of Greg!) What a group of wonderful, engaging people. We toured a beautiful historic section of NYC known as Little Poland. What great stories about the local people and area. The food was... well.... amazing! Finishing up in an eatery that Greg called "like going to your grandma's basement" was a perfect end to a really fun day. For our family, life is highlighted with great experiences that create wonderful memories. This one goes in that file:) We will be back to see Greg again....the Meatball tour is next. OMG!

Hello Larry, It was great having you and your family on my impromptu FFOG tour. I've chosen the "grandma's basement kitchen" feeling because of the wonderful food these venues offer. Being part Polish American Jersey boy, I'm a sucker for the tour's pierogi since they're made fresh daily. I am most grateful for creating a wonderful NYC memory for you and your family and look forward to seeing you on a Meatball Crawl! Thanks for the great review and the tip. Bardzo Dziekuje . (thanks much in Polish) Grzegisiu . (Greg in Polish)
