Greg's NYC Pierogi Walk was such a great way to really get to know this part of the city! From Greg's in depth knowledge of the architecture and history of the area, to the delicious food samplings, I haven't enjoyed a day in NYC this much in a long time. All of the food was great, but the polish sausage, the pierogi, and donuts were devine! Greg is warm and funny, and the personal touch he provides as a tour guide cannot be beat! Thanks Greg, and I wont hesitate to recommend you to my friends and family.

Hello Karen B, I was very happy to see you on the pierogi tour! It's always a thrill when I get to share NYC's gems with my local tourists like you. NYC's East Village is a gem, especially for Eastern European cuisine. I also am a fan of the fresh made Polish donuts, yum! I love weaving the cuisine/food with the local history to bring the city's history alive. Thanks for such a lovely review and am grateful your will refer me to your family and friends. Thanks! Grezesiu . Greg

Greg took us on a lovely walk around the East village and we ate some delicious and pierogis! My Sister in Law found this tour and I'm so glad she did! We had a small family tour, got to eat lots of great polish food. Our favorite was the blueberry pierogis! HIGHLY recommended to anyone who loves to eat and enjoys a lovely walk with lots a kind, knowledgeable guide!

Hi Kelley, Thanks for the great review and recommendation. One of the advantages of taking the tour in the summer are sampling fresh blueberry pierogis. They're a summer specialty and don't last long. I'm equally as glad your sister-in-law found the tour. Happy Summer. Greg

First, we'll be booking ANOTHER tour with Greg for our fall trip to the city. The Pierogi Walk was relaxed, tasty, and featured off-the-beaten-path architectural and cultural/historical highlights. Greg was very generous and accommodating for the one vegetarian in our party. Side note: we've used the phrases "We'll ask the man," and "We're waiting for the lady" many times since we were with Greg this past week. : ) [Not tour-related, BTW, just family linguistics]

Hello Dean, It's always fun to swap pierogi stories, peppered with some family lingo. The Pierogi is very vegetarian-friendly and I'm glad I was able to accommodate "the lady's" tastes. Thanks for the great review and tip! I look forward to seeing you and your family again and hopefully soon. Do zoboczenia. (see you soon) Grzesiu (Greg in Polish)
