We loved this walking tour. If you want to spend a few hours tasting some divine food, and really learning about neighborhoods of NYC---then go with Greg Walks. He is a native New Yorker and loves his neighborhoods and the food they offer. It is so fun to walk around, and hear local little stories and sample a lot of fun food. We started with the Pierogi's and ended in a quaint Jewish Polish Butcher shop and had fun stops in between also. Greg knew all the little secrets of each place we went to. We booked directly on his website, but this tour is also offered on Viator.

Czesc . (Hello!) Pierogi, kielbasa, challah, rugaleh are just some of the yummy bites that help bring history to life through food. Happy you enjoyed both on the Pierogi Walk. Dzekuje! (Thanks!) Grzegorz . (Greg) PS . Happy Turkey Day

Our group of 4 went on a food tasting tour with Greg. The food was great and Greg was very knowledgeable. We shared our backgrounds and experiences as Polish and Slavic Americans and he did too. He pointed out the best pierogie and kielbasa shops with a whole line of babka, poppy seed rolls, stuffed cabbage, etc. It was like being in my Grandma's house once again. Dziękuję Ci Greg!

Hi Margaret! Prosze bardzo i nie ma za co. I humbly agree the Pierogi Walk does feel like walking into Baba's (grandma in Polish and Slovak.) . The kielbasa, pierogi shops and other tour stops, with their Eastern European samples, always please when I need my Polish soul food fix. The East Village continues to have its Old World charms and I enjoy sharing them. Dziękuję! Walking Grzegorz PS Please pass on the Slovak pizza recipe.

I thoroughly enjoyed this food tour, however, I would have liked a little more to eat. We have done several of the other food tours and they have little meals at each stop. This one was a little light in that area. That being said, the tour guide, Gregory, was sweet and funny and personable and very informative. I really had a fun time.

Hi Judy, Glad you thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The tours are 'bites' as indicated on GREG WALK NYC. Thanks for the thumbs up review and I am glad you found the walk informative and entertaining. Happy Fall,! Walking Greg PS . I emailed Meg a recipe for Slovak Pizza, hope you received it and it was similar to what you're looking for.
