What To Expect
1
Cooper's Beach
We depart New York East via the borough of Queens, leaving the hustle and bustle of the big city behind. You'll begin to appreciate why the rich and famous choose to make Long Island their own personal playground when the scenery transforms from tall buildings to magnificent landscaping and gorgeous flowers. Then, continue east; passing the Long Island Duck before arriving at the famous Southampton area where residents such as Jerry Seinfeld, Paris Hilton, David Letterman, Steven Spielberg, and others have made their home. This is definitely the place to see and be seen. Stroll down Southampton's picturesque main street before heading through the historical harbor area and along Ocean Drive, passing some of the homes of the rich and famous along the way.

Duck Walk Vineyards North
Continue to one of the oldest and best wineries in Southampton, where you will enjoy complimentary wine tasting.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We weren't so keen on the Tanger Outlets and would have preferred less time there and more time in Sag Habour and South Hampton. We had a beautiful lunch at the American Hotel in Sag Habour, unfortunately it was rushed because of the limited time we had there. However it is well worth doing this tour and seeing how the rich live!

Unfortunatly the tour guide (who we had to ask his name) was negetive from the 7am start time until we got off the bus leaving him with no tip! He blamed the company for even offering the tour as nothing would be open (like we are idiots...of course we know it wouldnt be the same as the summer time) and told us to complain as soon as we could. He gave us the "heads up" that there would be a lot of driving to essentially see nothing and then some shopping. The experience of the destination was still enjoyable but that was due to the fellow Australians I kept company with that day not the tour guide (who apparently was called Bob). I also felt where we were taking didnt give us the best opportunity to look around at the views in the allocated time. He hardly spoke to us about our destination or surrounds and just seemed plain grumpy and didnt want to be there or work for the company. Based on this I probably wouldnt book another tour through Viator as Tour Guides are a vital part of my travel experience as I often travel alone.

Great day trip! It was a small group due to winter season but we had plenty of time. The tour guide was lovely. Very cold day but we made the most of it. Outlet shopping was amazing and ridiculously cheap!!
