The views were impeccable! We then had a drink at One Dine. Our bartender Stephne provided recommendations, and provided service with a smile. A great all around experience.

I loved the views and the setup of the observatory. We bought the flexible entry tickets since we drove from New Jersey and could not estimate our arrival time. We got in a little past 7pm. Our tickets included a $15 voucher to spend on food, drink or the gift shop. However, the snack shop closed a little before 8pm and the restaurant stopped seating people around the same time. We had $75 worth of vouchers and didnt know what to do with it. The gift shop is always a rip-off and that seemed to be our only option. Fortunately, the person at the cafe was kind enough and told us we could buy items as long as they did not need to be heated. So we got ourselves some snacks with some of the vouchers. I was also able to order some beer at the bar (even though I could not sit there). I had to carry the beer over to snack area. I think this can be better organized when people are paying $63 for a ticket. The snack shop and bar should at least stay open closer to 9pm. Due to this, I have rated this as average and nothing more

I took my daughter to see the view I used to have everyday when I worked at Windows On The World in the WTC back in 1979. Loved the video in the elevator up that showed the city transform from colonial days in ground floor to current times at 104. The Digital Skyline Guide is a good way to learn about some of what you are looking out at but needs an update as there are skyscrapers up now that don't show on the guide. We ended up spending three hours as we sat to enjoy the view while using our dining credit, spoke about all our New York experiences while viewing where they happened and marveled at what New York contains. Five star time!
