We were so lucky to get up the tower on a clear day and we could see for miles. If you are choosing to do one observatory in NYC I would recommend this as you can see all the other attractions including the statue of liberty. We had the all inclusive ticket which included queue jump and the interactive iPad which I also thought was worth the money.

Good views at night. We got skip-the-line tickets from TripAdvisor which was great - its worth getting them as you get fast-tracked going up and coming down. While the views were great, the glasses were all reflective so, taking any sort of night photos is impossible. No exterior balconies like Empire State. We loved going up Empire State better than this. Overall it was ok.

Well worth paying the upcharge and skip the long lines. Great experience overall with beautiful views of the city.
