Insufficient lifts to the viewing areas, poor organisation in the waiting area for the lifts, staff engaged with each other but not the customers, temperature too hot throughout the building, glass in the viewing area covered in dirty fingerprints - all in all a disappointing experience which compares unfavourably with the Empire State Building or Top of the Rock

One World Observatory is located at the top of the Freedom Tower. It offers the best aerial views of NYC and surroundings. One can skip the lines for the tickets by doing the online booking for a set time. In addition to the spectacular views all around, one can enjoy the simulation glass bottom floor and the informative buzz operated by one of the employees. The best time to visit is before sunset to have daylight, twilight and night time views. A surprise awaits all visitors at the top, which I won’t reveal. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting this observatory to any traveler in NYC.

A spectacular view of NYC. Literally a concrete jungle out there.. Better if you get hold of their tablets for a virtual guided tour.
