I bought tickets for our group of 5, without my ticket since I’m afraid of heights. As we arrived that day, I hated to be the only one not going and was thinking back-in-forth about trying it. Our group left and I was asking the staff about questions (room from the windows, options if I got scared, the elevator, etc.). I decided to purchase a ticket. The staff member took me up, stayed with me, and continued to ask me if I was ok. She assured me she would stay with me till we found my group and make sure I was good before leaving my side. She was amazing! Elevator was quick and entertaining both ways to take your mind off of the distance. I felt like I was in a huge building with plenty of space between the window and could move freely around and never felt the building move. Thank you for an amazing experience and exceptional staff!

We visited One World Observatory on our first night in NYC. I've been to NYC before but have never been to One World Observatory. The Observatory was great, but we went at night so we couldn't take very good pictures due to glare on the windowes. I absolutely loved the SkyPod elevator. I never thought an elevator was capable of moving that fast. The elevator featured a movie about the evolution of the NYC skyline from 1500-2015. The only thing I suggest the Observatory discontinues is the stupid iPad tour. The iPad tour is meant for people who have never been to NYC to learn about the different buildings and such. The gift shop was great too. I would totally come back next time I am in NYC but during the day.

The experience in the observatoriy of the One World Trade Center left me a little bit disappointed. The view is amazing that's for sure but the price is excessive (42 dollars!)!! The introduction underneath the building is cheap and extremely patriotic (the best building ever made, proud to be American etc...). The short film you see on top is nice but after that you need to go through a restaurant before reaching the observatory. Finally the photos don't look so good because because of the reflections (see second picture) The Empire State building in comparison is a much more enjoyable visit .
