What To Expect

Times Square

The tour starts/ends in the heart of NYC - Times Square

Rockefeller Center

The second stop on the tour is Rockefeller Center, for views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the location of the ice skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC's Today Show set.

Madison Square Park

The third stop is Madison Square Park - the original location of Madison Square Garden Arena. This area provides spectacular views of dramatic architecture featured in numerous books and films: the Flatiron Building (Godzilla, Spider-Man), the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower (The Runaway Skyscraper, Futurama), and the Empire State Building (King Kong, Independence Day).

The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum

The fourth stop is the World Trade Center, as we visit the 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors can walk the grounds of the Memorial, visit the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence," (the footprints of where the original twin towers stood), and see the Survivor Tree that stood up to the destruction of 9/11.

We did two days of Tour in New York with Tour guide J. We had a few places we wanted to visit and Pedro created a wonderful schedule and filled in our time with interesting ideas. Pedro and Raymond were fantastic drivers. Tour Guide J kept us entertained and informed. Gavin is still waiting for a call from Dorothy : )

My friend from South Africa and I (from Chicago) only had one day in New York so we took this tour. It was excellent - Gil knows everything about the city and Roy was a great driver. I recommend this tour to anyone - do this on day one and you will be better informed as to where to go if you have a couple of extra days. He also recommended some good restaurants in Hell's Kitchen and we had a great meal too.
