Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.

Worst experience ever. We arrived more than one hour before the flight and waiting 1,5 hours in the heliport. We found out after speaking to other groups that that had booked 4 groups at the same slot but they only had 1 helicopter ! They threaten to charge us $100 per person if we are over 30 minutes before due arrival time but refuse to compensate us if they are running very very late. The other helicopter was in maintienance. After such a long wait on the spot they came to tell us that they were going to cancel all the flights that day due to faulty radio equipment! This clearly means that the maintenance is done in a negligent manner!!! The crew was not informative and very unprofessional. To top it off they said we would not get refunded as maintenance is not included in the terms and conditions. NEVER use this Company. Zero security and the worst management ever.

Hidden “heliport” fee!! Had to arrive 45 min early to avoid a late fee only to wait 2 hours after our scheduled time to actually fly. The lady made it seem like she was doing us a favor by giving us all window seats (in a helicopter that only had window seats) which was why we had to wait so long when our order and placement should’ve been planned in advance since everyone had to pick a time and provide their weight when initially scheduling. While waiting we had to sit in a hanger with no a/c, the latches to the restroom stalls didn’t work and we couldn’t take photos. The a/c in the helicopter also did not work so we had to fly with the windows cracked which made it loud even with headsets on. The headsets and mic’s were not swapped out or wiped down in between rides. The only “pleasant” part was the pilot was nice and the views were nice.

There are no Hidden fees, everything is posted when you book. The a/c was on in the hanger and also the helicopter.

Nice experience. Check in was smooth, we were there a bit early for our flight and we were accommodated in the next available flight which was nice, saved some time for us. Everybody in the team was nice. It would have been nice if the pilot had time to walk us thru the landmarks the entire time during the flight. The pilot informed us that he had to be in touch with ATC so he could not be with us all the time. However, he did what best he could and answered questions. We wished for more time and wished the return trip covered lower manhattan one more time but the route took us over New Jersey. Overall a great experience!
